Great price compared to the "OTHER PRODUCT" on the info-mercials. Just as effective if not better. I'm a 43 year old male that stays in decent shape year round. This is exactly what type of exercise machine that I have been looking for since I started working out in my 20's. I wish this would have been around years ago. I would recommend this product to all ages for year round use. I have stored my old weider weight bench and free weights away for now because I can't stop using this thing.

There's a handful of manufacturers producing this type of machine..one even has a fancy infomercial on TV but from what I've seen and experienced, this is the superior and extremely cost friendly version of the units.

Mine sits on carpet, the legs could use a pop on attachments to form a T or better yet a broad H and make the unit more stable when shifting your weight and repositioning yourself as I'm sure the occasional mild teeder todder would still happen on a hard surface. If you set the unit to it's highest incline and exercise vigorously, I'm absolutely positive you would need to modify the unit to ensure safe, reliable stability.

Could use some handles on the back pad for squats. I grip the edge of the board when setting the unit to it's highest incline along with full bungee attachment-the back board just can't handle it so unfortunately, I've been forced to tone that exercise down.

Beyond that, I don't feel the unit is faulted though I am certain it could be further developed to do even more.

I definately recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap way to get started or get back into working out. As a former hardcore gym rat, I wasn't expecting much from this machine. Much to my suprise, I could feel the burn after the first seated curl! This is a great product and you can't go wrong for the price.

I just received this and I was leary, because there was not one in the store to try out. I was able to try out the Total Gym and let me tell you that this one is just as smooth and easy to work with, at less than half the price. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.
