I bought a Louisville Slugger the same time I bought this one. The LS broke the exact day I bought it, and the Rawlings is still hitting balls hard. This bat is very strong for its cheap price compared to the LS. The only bad thing about the bat is that the grip is a little slippery. I had to buy batting gloves to handle the bat, so I wouldn't throw the bat from a hard swing.
