No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I own a Franklin set and decided to purchace 2 sets as gifts. They were not the same as my set although they were described as such. I was highly disappointed in the set... basically the net and volleyball were disposable... only good once. The net tore the first day. The net and ball were also child height/size, and that was not described in the item info.
